We are looking for an Operations Associate. The role is hands-on and multi-faceted and will span many areas of operations, business, legal and finance. We are looking for a business-minded individual with experience in operations. We are looking for a resourceful person, with a high aptitude and a willingness to learn.

The Role:

The role is a unique opportunity to work closely with the Founders and gain hands-on experience across all areas of the business. The role is multi-disciplinary, requiring a mix of legal, operations and business skills. You will gain exposure to a range of different verticals across the business, offering you both a unique combination of breadth and depth of experience, alongside the opportunity to have a huge impact on CoMind’s success.

  • You will support the COO with the legal operations of the business covering all aspects of Employment Law, Commercial law and Company Secretary responsibilities. You will assist with drafting contracts, managing documentation and help to introduce process efficiencies.

  • Facilitating research into different markets, and helping to identify potential partnerships for the business. You will assist with the research into the regulatory landscape of our industry, in particular MHRA.

  • Taking responsibility for the onboarding of new joiners and helping out with the hiring process including reaching out to new candidates and managing them through the pipeline.

  • Assisting the COO with financial budgeting and planning to optimise the investment and resource. Liaising with the accounting team such as assisting with invoicing.

  • Supporting the COO with building and optimising scalable processes to streamline our operations and prepare the company for hyper-growth.

  • Providing other ad hoc support to the COO and CEO such as assisting with the equipment/parts ordering process, helping to manage the lab and office, and supporting the team.

You Should Apply If:

  • You have graduated with at least a 2:1 in a Law (ideally), Management or Business degree (BSc).

  • You have 2+ years of work experience in any of the following:

    • a paralegal/legal counsel/legal associate in a Law firm OR

    • a Consultant in a large consulting firm or professional services firm OR

    • have experience in operations or business in a startup or fast-moving tech company.

  • You have experience working with startups or in a fast-paced environment, where you have managed multiple high complexity projects while delivering high-quality results.

  • You are a highly detail-orientated individual who takes pride in delivering articulate and high-quality work.

  • You enjoy a diverse role consisting of responsibilities across all different areas of the business.

  • You are curious by nature and are enthusiastic about helping to drive the business forward and take on responsibility.
